How important is light to photography? It is everything. Picture this: if there was no light, what would the photo look like? That’s right – it will be completely black.

Good light is crucial to good photography, and natural light is the most flattering light source of all. This is why we always recommend shooting next to a large natural light source, such as a large window.

If natural light sources are not available, we will use ambient light along with our flashes. But keep in mind that indoor light sources can be competitors of our artificial light sources – this includes screens, which we ask you to avoid if possible.
